    Description

    This is a wondrous Hopi wicker burden basket by Dorlene Gashweseoma in beautiful original condition.  At the time this basket was sold in Flagstaff, AZ. in 2002, the artist was 34.  She married Valjean Lalo, hand weaver of traditional and contemporary Hopi clothing and they live in Hotevilla on Third Mesa.
    Basket is 9 inches tall and 10  x 12 inches across top.  Brown suede strap.
